Megan Furlong

Head Coach; Megan has been dancing since age 5 and started with a studio background at Stage Door Performing Arts performing and competing on their competition teams until high school. When her family moved to the Elk River area she then transitioned to the Elk River Varsity Dance team where she danced for four years serving as a choreographer through out her career. She then moved on and graduated from the University of St.Thomas and earned a degree in Marketing and advertising that is put to good use in her marketing consultant career at Wells Fargo Insurance. Megan is very excited to become part of the team and Elk River Dance team family and is looking forward to a very fun filled and successful season with many laughs and successes along the way!! She is honored and dedicated to work with each dancer and have the pleasure to coach the team.

Abby Jarnot

Varsity Assistant Coach; Abby started dancing at the age of 3 at North Crest Gymnastics and Dance where she spent 14 years exploring ballet, tap, jazz, modern and pointe. She created a strong passion for the art of dance and decided to apply that passion to the Sartell Dance Team during her junior and senior year of high school. While on the Sartell Dance Team, Abby danced on both jazz and kick teams and received all-conference honors in both kick and jazz as well as All-State honors for jazz her senior year. During her time as a student at the College of Saint Benedict, Abby taught classes at North Crest Gym and Dance. She is currently starting her career in Human Services by working as an Independent Living Specialist in Sauk Rapids, MN. Abby is extremely excited to spend her first season coaching dance team by being a part of the Elk River Dance Team coaching staff- She cannot wait to be active in the dance team family again!

Angie Rinehart

Varsity Assistant Coach; I am a hair stylist at Salon City, I am married and have two kids, a son and a daughter. I have been dancing or involved with dance for 20 years or so. Dance is my passion. I taught at a dance studio and I also coached the ERDT for 2-1/2 years before getting married and starting a family. I am so excited to start working with the ERDT again it's going to be a fun season!!

Haley Keatts

Junior Varsity Coach; Haley started to develop her passion for dance at the age of 4 through studio dance at Dancin' Feet in Andover, MN where she spent 5 years focusing and exploring tap, jazz, and ballet techniques. After moving to the Elk River area, Haley went on to join Elk River Just for Kix where she spent the next 10 years building her dance experience in high kick, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. During her time at Just for Kix, she was able to teach some of the years at summer camp where she was able to share her passion with the younger dancers. Haley then went on to attend college at Winona State University, where she continued to dance for her freshman year. Haley recently graduated from Rasmussen college where she obtained her Registered Health Information Management degree. She currently works for Cerner Corporation as a medical coding and billling specialist. This will be Haley's third season with the ERDT family and she could not be more excited for a season full of success and passion.

Kaitlyn Erickson

Fall Head Coach; Kaitlyn started out her dance career in a studio at a young age, she continued that career on the Elk River Dance Team when she was in high school. While on the Dance team she continued to dance in a studio to learn different genres of dance including hip hop, jazz and ballet. After high school Kaitlyn taught at Showcase Dance Studio for a year and then coached the winter season of the Elk River Dance Team. After that year of coaching she then left Minnesota and lived in Texas, Florida, and Washington as a military wife and mother of two. Along with becoming a wife and mother, she continued to go to college as they moved around. She finished her associates degree and is working on her Bachelors in Marketing as her family gets settled back into Minnesota after being gone for 6 years. Kaitlyn is ecstatic to be back in the state and a part of this incredible organization. The coaches and team had such an impact on her life she is grateful to have the opportunity to do the same.

Rachel Anderson

Fall Assistant Coach; Rachel began dancing in a studio at the young age of 3. Her love and passion for the sport continued to grow until she decided to join the Elk River Dance Team her sophomore year of high school. Rachel made two state appearances during her three years on the team, served as choreographer, and was named All-Conference, All-State, and co-captain her senior year. After high school, Rachel attended the University of Minnesota Duluth where she majored in Accounting and Health Care Management. Rachel currently works at a small accounting firm in Stillwater, and feels very honored to have the opportunity to come back to the team that gave her so much!
